Classic all-around quality knife!

The perfect chef's knife for those who prefer the Santoku blade. It has a nice weight in your hand, the blade leads all the way through the handle creating a unique design. It is perfect for daily use and cuts even easily through tough foods like squash. The 18 inch blade length allows for larger cuts of meat to be handled with ease. It cuts through a whole Rotisserie chicken with no trouble. Perfect knife for all your daily meal prep, veggies, fruit, meats and maybe even that frozen ice cream cake!

My favorite allrounder, especially for cutting all sorts of vegetables for Indian and Thai or Chinese dishes.

I already own the smaller version of this Santoku knife, which is my favorite knife for everything. But in this period of COVID quarantining, we have several people living in the house, and I can't count on using MY knife because everybody else wants to use it too. So I bought another Santoku - this time, the 7.1 inch blade, which is just as perfect as my original knife, but a little heavier and more formidable. We don't eat much meat anymore, but I spend a lot of time chopping vegetables, and this knife cuts through even the tough, hard root veggies like butter. My new kitchen rule is that I always get first dibs on this 7.1 Santoku.
