Features at a glance

original-profi collection Stock Pot with Metal Lid

cookstar all-stove base

The cookstar all-stove base lies perfectly on the cooktop and guarantees optimal heat absorption, distribution and retention – which helps you save energy with any type of stove or hob.

pouring rim

The broad pouring rim makes it easy to pour liquids with none of those annoying drips and spills.

stay-cool metal handles

The cooking crown’s selectable depressurizing function helps to safely and easily reduce pressure at the end of the cooking process.

measuring scale

The integrated measuring scale allows you to dose liquids without using a measuring cup

condensate-plus curvature

The clever condensate-plus function is effected by the downward arch in the middle of the lid. And this lets condensed steam drip back in the pot to keep the ingredients tender and juicy.

Metal Lid

The extra-heavy metal lid makes certain not only the heat, but also the ingredients’ aromas stay in the pot.

Stock Pot

LANNY J 18-01-19

Ok, my first time using the Fissler Profi stock pot. I normally do my cooking using cast iron, so I will see how this pot does. I am using the Fissler to make our last batch of chili for the season. I heat the pot up to temperature, put a dash of canola oil in, and proceed to brown the ground beef. The Fissler pot heated up much faster than the cast iron, and much more evenly, therefore the beef browned much faster. I then proceeded to put in the rest of the ingredients, canned tomatoes, onions, green peppers, corn, and seasoning. During the cooking process, I noticed the handles of the Fissler pot remained cool to the touch, unlike the cast iron. This is a definite positive. The chili turned out great, and cleanup of the Fissler stock pot was very easy compared to the cast iron pot.

Stock Pot

The profi stock pot is a great addition to my kitchen. It is the perfect size for a big pot of chili or soup. The pan heats evenly and once up to temperature, it was easy to maintain a simmer on just the low setting. The pan bottom sits squarely on my cooktop -- this high tech pan bottom will never warp like the pans I have been using. I love the big sturdy handles for ease of lifting and pouring. My recipe called for simmering the soup for 30 minutes and the handles never got too hot to touch. The measurement lines inside the pot will come in handy. I have not found a down side with this beautiful Fissler pot.

Sturdy with flawless performance

Cheri Larimer 18-01-19

This sturdy stock pot was the perfect vessel for my large pot of wild rice soup . I could not identify any hot or cold spots and it heated evenly without scorching. Its wide structure made it easy to stir and add ingredients without spilling. It was easy to get a solid grip once this pot was full and heavy, while still being manageable. The lid fit well on the flared lip which allowed for dripless pouring. The oversized handles are securely fastened with rivets that do not penetrate the inside of the pot, which made for easy cleaning. It worked great on my extra large gas burner and will easily handle making a large batch of chicken stock; corn on the cob or crab legs. This treasured piece of cookware will be passed down multiple generations.
