Fissler has always stood for premium cookware made in Germany. But we create much more than exclusive pots, pressure cookers and pans. For generations, we in Idar-Oberstein have lived our pure passion for cooking and brought its most beautiful form out in our products – forged from stainless steel, heart and soul. We do this to inspire and excite passionate cooks all over the world. And to express one thing above all - our appreciation. For the chef, for precious ingredients, and for the special moments and atmosphere that flood our house when we cook for the people we love.
Enduring, time-tested craftsmanship and quality I can - and do - rely on in my home kitchen.
This stock pot is not only beautiful but it works perfectly with my new induction range. I was so impressed with the quality, i ordered another size pot.
Built like a tank. Exceptionally even heating. Great for stews and boiling pasta. I love that it is EU-made and has an uber-thick disc bottom. Great value!
Seems very solid and well made. So far, it is working well for things like boiling water (for pasta, etc.) My only concern is that when I first start the pot on high heat to boil water, there is a "sweating" on the outside of the base that drips water down into the burner and drip pan. I appreciate if anyone might add a thought as to why this occurs; one site says it may be due to combustion of natural gas leaving water droplets on the relatively cold base.
Finally, a great cooking pot that sits securely on the gas burner, does not slide around, is the perfect size for height and width. The weight of the pot makes it easy to handle as well as the sturdy and accessible handles. Food heats up quickly and evenly. I'm surprised the clean-up is easy too as food does not seem to stick despite no additional coatings. This is my dream cooking pot!
Great solid product, shipped quickly. We got our first Fisslers in Germany in 1990 and still use them every day, great to cook with and indestructible!
