I noticed that my original gasket has a message embossed on the surface advising the user to replace the gasket every two or three years. Fissler had the replacement in stock, provided it on time, and charged a reasonable price, lower than I could find anywhere else. The pressure cooker and Fissler's customer service have been outstanding.

It a Fissler part. Not surprisingly it fits. And it works. The product seems somewhat overpriced ($25) relative to the cost of the pressure cooker pot itself. And about $7 for shipping a $25 light weight gasket is excessive in an Amazon Prime world. But you need a quality gasket. Remember what happened to the Challenger Space Shuttle. I don’t mess around when it comes to gaskets.
