Recipe Ingredients
4|| large sweet potatoes||
2 ||t-bone steaks (each approx. 14 - 20 oz)||
||coarse sea salt||
2 ||sprigs rosemary||
2 ||garlic cloves||
2 tbsp ||butter||
1 cup ||cornstarch||
1 tsp ||sweet smoked paprika||

T-Bone Steak & Sweet Potato Fries

Recipe Instructions

Step 1:


Wash and peel the sweet potatoes. Then cut the sweet potatoes into fries in your preferred shape and size. Then put the fries in a bowl filled with water for approx. 15 minutes. Remove from water and pat dry.||

Step 2:


Season the meat with salt. In a pre-heated pan, fry for approx. 4 minutes on each side. Add the rosemary, crushed garlic and butter to the meat, glazing the steak with the butter. Season with pepper. Remove the meat from the pan and wrap in aluminum foil and allow to rest for approx. 10 minutes.||

Step 3:


Combine the starch, salt and 2/3 cups mineral water and coat the potatoes in this. Allow to drip on a grill. Deep fry the sweet potatoes in batches at approx. 350°F for approx. 6 minutes per batch. After frying, season with paprika and salt. Arrange the steak and the fries together.||
